How would one go about getting work designing graphics for deck or clothing companies?
start off by asking companys if you can do some work experiance in the feild your interested in , you may have to work for little to nothing but you can try and get connections , try and do this with a range of companys.
have a realy good portfolio ready.
do as much study on graphic design as possable.
make your own small brand and come up with nice designs and good ads and stuff.
work your ass off .

A few years Working in design already would help, Ive seen a few jobs advertised at quicksilver & ripcurl adversisted while scanning through seek. Knowing ppl in the industry who know your work, I dont really know but these are just things that help with other jobs, so i imagine it would be the same.
