> GOOFY VS NATURAL SKATERS
Do you reckon that it makes a difference to the way people skate?
I've noticed that a lot of goofy skaters tend to be better at doing tricks backside. I reckon this is because a lot of skateparks are designed for natural skaters (with rails or ledges facing frontside). So the goofy skater is forced to skate backside when they are learning.
A good example is the flat bar at Prahran in Melbourne.

Ha!
I skate with a goofy skater who thinks the same thing.
I won't mention his name, because you'll probably start hating on him and stick his skate photos on your dartboard.
You skate with a goofy skater who wonders if you're retarded?
Yeah I dig it...
You skate what's in front of you.
If you can't hit it the preferred way you try it the other way.
I'm goofy and have never been able to do anything backside apart from crooked grinds, boardslide and 50-50's.

I`m suprised that anyone who associates with you has the capacity to think.
It's interesting that most of the Australian skaters who are known overseas are nearly ALL goofy.
ie. Jake Duncombe, Dustin, Kieran Reilly, Dane, Kurt Winter, Sam Winter, Nugget, Dennis Durrant, Bryce Golder, Shane Cross RIP, etc etc...
In fact, Chima, Woodsy and Brophy are the exceptions because they skate natural.
That's a pretty strong trend.
A couple of other blokes that are`known` overseas may also be mat mumford, chad bartie and m.campbell. Off the top of my head that is.
This topic is debated every year in the goofy versus natural comp.
