> BRINGING GIRLS SKATING
Is it just me or is anyone else noticing alot of the younger generation bringing their girlfriends skating? Bringing chicks to parks like your local, to demos and comps is cool, but on filming trips? Round the city skating to spots holding their girls hands just looks wierd. And its just awkward sitting on the train. They're should be some kind of a rule.
It kills the session having a girl sitting there looking bored.
On missions we sometimes bring girls. They can roll joints and be designated drivers and make everyone skate hard for a "yewwwwwwwww!" from a chick.
Sketchie Sammie (who can be a nightmare as it is....he would admit that) is renowned for bringing personality and english devoid japanese lurker girls on missions. Immune to any encouragement of joining in and even sitting with the crew, they can kill the vibe. Especially when your mind casts itself to 3am and Sketchy Sam reinacting a scene from "deliverance" with them.

This gave me an idea for a funny picture: A hot chick holding a vx. I'd make it but I don't have photoshop now. I'll give props to someone who does.
There's no place for girlfriends or chick friends at a skate sessions...It's like letting Yoko into The Beatles recording sessions, it should never have happend.
Hey Joshua, it`s pretty hard to show your personality when you can`t speak the language.

More props if you photoshop them on a board, with a vx, following a skater doing a line. Use one of em chicks from gossip girl or something.
I brought a girl to watch me skate a demo at my local, which I'm pretty sure abides by the rules, she wasn't ruining the session as she was just watching in the crowd.
Once we get these rules written, there'll be alot less confusion in our crew about bringing girls, cause the ones that used to bring em they think "no girls fullstop." But there are many exceptions.
