What does it take?

You know how much fundage.

What do you need etc..

Making money from a skate company is bloody hard, especially in Australia. The margins are tight. Skateboarding isn't as popular as it was ten years ago.

Nowadays kids like to buy designer clothes and wank into their Iphones instead.

Yes, a lot of pros have started their own skate companies. But they don't actually own them (usually the company is funded by a bigger firm). For example, Ed Templeton does not own Toy Machine and Rodney Mullen doesn't own Almost.

What do you need? Just money, good ideas, a lot of passion and good skaters on your team. You have to do it because you love skating, not to become rich.
