Nike sponsors some awesome skaters and they are doing a lot for skating. It's great that they have a skate team.
I just prefer to wear shoes from smaller companies that have been about skateboarding for a long time. ie. Lakai or Emerica.

true^, no popular shoe company is really a "small shoe company". Most of the shoes nike makes are just as good or even better anyways, buy nikes!

and while you supporting small companies go to little cafe's instead of eating at fast food chains (guessing you eat at them)
and stop shopping at coles and safeways and head to the small local groser ?
