Bahahaa.. I just looked at the home page and now I know why you wrote that easiyo. Too funny! Why do I feel that one of my recent threads has brought this on? hahaha.. Naa, it's not all about me right?

I must say though, that the more industry heads I speak to, the more it seems like skateboarding is going through one of its toughest times in history. Skating was already in a lull in its cycle when the world recession hit. Now it's even worse.

Just today I was told that the entire Australian Volcom design team was disbanded. Volcom Oz I guess is now reduced to a distributor of Volcom USA products. This may be old (or new) news to some, but I don't keep up with industry shenanigans anymore. Pretty shocking huh?

As for the lowly retail outlet known as the skateshop, times must be even tougher. I'm guessing that a few of the smaller, less known skateshops will have to close their doors sooner rather than later.

In regards to my shop sponsor, I'd have to say the guy is a pretty smart bussiness man. Ok, so he may sell all the crap under the sun that plagues us at skateparks, but this will probably save him in the long run. Most people who want to survive in bussiness and put food on their families table do so by making money right? Is it not smart to cater for a broader market of not only skateboarding styles, but also all that other crap? If one product aint bringin in the dough, then somethin else will.

Hey Bill, keep selling kooky shit mate, cause it's payin for my decks and all the other stuff I scam off you. Gwahahahahaaa.. Thanks mate!

ill accept rollerblades, coz there arnt to many of them and they actually do some pretty cool shit once they good enough, but scooters, scooters are the crabs on the beautiful inviting vagina that is a good skatepark, once its got crabs you know you dont wanna go there

It's not old people easiyo, it's just me, because unlike most people on this site, I have an attention span that outlasts the length of a channel 10 station ident. Plus I'm an oppinionated old bastard.

If it's too much for you to read beyond your longest post of 9 words, then don't draw my attention to a thread by trying to use me as a comedy outlet for you juvenile intelect.

I've found the best way to rid us of the scooter plight we're forced to endure. Make ALL 4 year old boys play SkateIt on Wii. Before long they'll stop bringing the scooter at all and only skate. Worked with a mates son.

fuck that "gotta pay the bills" bullshit. a real skate shop wouldnt stock that lame rollerblade shit no matter what.
