I agree Lazlo. I've been watching all the Pool Party footage over and over for the last 3 months, and the scariest thing is seein all the near misses, t-bones, and head ons.
Maybe they listened to Grosso, cause now they have 3 runs and then a jam, instead of 1 run and then the texas death match.
I just don't wanna have my head taken off by Duane Peters.
Same as the Elanora comp last year, ruined by the stupid all-in jam in the final....I wanna see lines and tricks not dodging

My theory is that all the padless bandits want to prove that they are just as tough as the vert heavy hitters by taking a whopper or two, cause when they do fall, they usually scamper down the tranny like a road runner, or slide on their butt like they're on the slippery dip at Luna Park.
Actually, I heard the judges were too lazy to watch hours of skating, and just wanted it over and done with. Lame!
Death Match was the most fun I have ever had in a comp, that and the Jam at the world titles in Rotterdam when Terrence Bougdour dropped in with me and I was over him snaking so while he went for a backside air I did a lein air over the top of him and landed on his back and rode him to the flat. A bit of physical contact is ok. Mick....Step it up over there. Make the comeback of the century. I want to see it. But I say all in. Pussy if its not like. That....Oh yeah Im calling Grosso a Pussy!!!

all in brawl at caloundra was hard to beat, especially the first one, sometimes jams are right, sometimes not

I guess the deathmatch is cool for all you young bucks with nothin to lose, but unfortunately, at our age, all it takes is one heavy hit and you're out for good.
Cab's shoulder is still screwed after he shoulder barged the side wall a few days before Bowl-a-drama, and I wonder how Lance is doin now that he has a plate in his upper arm. I dunno how T-Mag is doin after he got t-bones by Buck Smith last year. That one popped his shoulder out.
maybe old dudes should just stay away from jam comps,
there were no pads at Caloundra
anyway whats something that happened a few days before a comp got to do with anything?
