I am super keen to enter this event =) and i know its in about 8-9 days so anyone else keen post here =D
ok, me and my "team" got shortlisted with one other skate team.
got a phone call today. so it look's like if we are successful in being chosen to be in the competition, we going to need skateboard.com.au's help!
got me mighty excited now
I saw you dudes on the Today Show this morning, set up looks fair wack. The general consensus was that skating for 60 hours is the toughest, so hopefully non-skaters will vote for you because of this.
i got emailed this, i wonder if there is drug testing
----------------------------------------------
I just wanted to let you know that the adidas AUS skate team will be at the 60 hour challenge event on Monday at 12pm, and Wed for the final hour between 6 – 7pm.
As mentioned previously, it’s at Queensbridge Square Southbank.
Kurt Winter will be there, joined by a selection from the below dudes.
Jack Crook
Tom Snape
James Wright
Joel Mcilroy
Gus Faithfull
Severin Von Ow
They’ll be doing a bit of a demo on some of the gear so some opps for snaps etc of them and the competitors is up for grabs if that’s of interest.
This is the team if dudes that’ll competing, too. Joined by the attached bike! That’ll be playing tunes at the event.
Skate
Chip Mooney, Corey Baker, Leigh Rabl – Melbourne, NSW
Melbourne based trio Paul “Chip” Mooney, Corey Baker, Leigh Rabl have been skating together for 6-years and are well known on the Victorian skate scene. After finding a common love for Skating, they’ve come together to put their passion to the test in the adidas ALL IN Challenge. All three pride themselves in their amateur skate films, while Chip has had his photos featured on skateboard.com.au. One of the most physically demanding categories of the Challenge, do these young men have what it takes to go ALL IN for 60-hours?
most importantly vote for us.
