Personally I don't really know Tim Burdett, although we have heaps of mutual friends. He kills it on a skateboard.
Last week, Tim's Dad and two sisters were killed in a horrific car accident. It's sad beyond words.
Vaughan Marks and James Kennedy are organising a fundraiser for Tim, to help cover funeral costs. It will be at Fitzy Bowl. Last Friday's event was rained out.
There will be a best trick comp, an auction of painted skateboards, plus beers and music from Poon DJs and Teenage Mothers DJs. And most importantly, a banging session in the bowl.
Stay tuned for more info....I'm sure a lot of skaters will come to shred and support Tim.
So heartbreaking. Absolute ninja overlord and the mentor to many - come down and buy art/donate/skate/chill
that's so sad, losing more than one family member in one go would be the worst.
