Cody's a simple feller, happy with a brew and a skate after a hard days work.
I called him up a couple months ago and we did this interview to go with a couple images that never found a home from our Europe trip.

not much just having a beer after work, what are you up to?
Just chillin man. Alright let’s do it, what have you been up to lately.
Not much just, working, skating and drinking.
Yep, same ol, good shit. What’s work at the moment?
Just fucking tiling up and down the goldy.
So you’re pretty Goldy born & bred aren’t you?
Yeah, been on the Goldy my whole life.
You were over in Portland a while ago weren’t you?
Yeah in 2011 so 2 years ago now. It was unreal, outta control, stayed up near Burnside and skated there everyday, got blind & partied for 6 weeks.
And how many times did you shower in that period?
About 3 times
We got back from Europe a couple months ago, any highlights jump to mind?
Yeah fuckin oath, I think you know a lot of ‘em (laughs)
Any of them you’re allowed to talk about?
All of it, I’m single now so no holding back.
Hmmm interesting, in that case what were you & Pat up to for a couple days before we left for Europe?
On a bender from hell, ended up spending half our money before we’d even left on the trip. Ended up rocking up to the airport off guts. Then on the flight home we didn’t sleep for 4 days while we flew from Germany to London, London to Madrid, Madrid to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to china, China to Brisbane. Took us 5 days
FS Feeble - Paris
How did you & pat come about getting tickets to Europe?
Blind drunk booked ‘em on the computer & got the wrong flights. We flew into Madrid 6 Hours away from Barcelona tried to hire a car and we couldn’t so we had to catch the train took us 6 hours to figure out how to get the train.
What was the first word you learnt in Spanish?
Fuckin Cerveza! Beer!
What was Paris like?
A shit hole, no where near what I thought it’d be like, it’s like fucking Attica! Visiting Jim Morrisons grave there was one of my highlights for sure though.
The grave yard was closed so we had to fuckin climb up a 2 story building and jump over the barbed wire fence and then sneak around the grave yard, find the directory where he was to find his grave, got pissed & got our selves a bracelet. Simo did it all with a broken arm in a cast, we had to boost him up & over.
So what else did your drunken alter ego El Codio get up to over in Europe?
Ahh shiit, Amsterdam. Plenty of good times in the El Red Light district-o.
Do you remember much else of Amsterdam?
Oh bits n pieces, it’s pretty blurry. Remember Pat being all bucked up when we were at the pub and falling off his stool then missing his glass while trying to pour a beer.
There was also that DIY Pool you fell in love with in Amsterdam
Yeah that pool was fucking amazing. Where was that again, over the river near the Amsterdam Skatepark wasn’t it? The beer on tap at that skatepark was epic.
FS Smith - Amsterdam
Our Barcelona apartment was pretty cool, even if the cops must have been called there at least once every 2 or 3 days.
Yeah we didn’t think we’d get our bond back on that place because Simmo pissed his bed & all through elevator, Pat tried to fight the neighbors down stairs, but couldn’t figure out where they lived, even though they were just on the ground floor of our building. Then there was the time we had that watermelon fight and when I split pat’s head open with a beer can and ended up drinking his blood.
Who’s Skully
We found skully (a white clay skull) on the way down to the beach, one morning in Barcelona. We tried to pick up girls with ol’ skully and then we were racking lines off him the whole trip and he ended up being just a jaw by Berlin. He was a spitting image of Mumford.
Was that the same morning you ended up in a dance routine on the beach?
Yeah when I was eating all of Simmo’s anti depressants and ended up dancing with all those gay blokes.
What about the first time we went to the Aarto quarter to steel wall?
That was fuckin bad, hit the old head, had a big egg and couldn’t open up my jaw for 2 days.
BS Nosepick - Barcelona
Last time I saw you guys Pat was lighting rubbish on fire and throwing it at you, wasn’t sure how you’d go getting home.
Yeah we ended up at ol’ matey’s house who was a coke dealer and got off our heads for a couple days and stayed on his floor. As soon as you left the skateboarding was done
Peewee mentioned you got some new tats recently?
I got a toe tag that says never, I got born to lose on my arm and I got my buddies name Andi, across my stomach.
Have you ever actually been to a tattoo parlour or had a professional ink you?
Never

You’re not a big fan of under garments in general are you?
Never owned any really, Maybe on a special occasion if the back of my pants are torn to bits and I’ve gotta go out somewhere.

When I was 16, so about 8 years ago. It doesn’t grow, probably from drinking too much.

Tugan Party Ghetto Birds. tight little group of my mates from tugan, we all grew up skating together my whole fuckin life. Still skate with them a fair bit now, the tugan boys
You seem to vibe on a lot of different music, what’s been your jam lately?
Still a lot of Pantera, Body Count and a lot of Hank, Hank the 3rd

What’s been going on lately .
Just went on the Hoon run the other week. That was a fucking loose trip went all the way up to Rocky. Just woke up every morning drinking by 6 and just getting crazy, getting lit and camping in all the national parks for 6 days. It was me Pat, Jezza, Peewee, Nugget, Cuzza, Blakey, Hookso and Mashy. Mashy’s gansta!
I ended up knocking myself out pretty bad, pinging off my head blind drunk on a bender trying a backside smith top to bottom and knocked myself clean out.
Was that the end of the trip for you?
Nah, nah kept skating. I just got drunk for the next 2 days, head was too sore.
Oh some other shit I been doing up here is fixing up the Troutopia, the skatepark in Nimbin at Trout’s houses and building all other new bowls and stuff. Pouring crete in the next couple weeks with Brodie, Kai & Trout.

What have you got on for the rest of the year & next?
Next year I’m going to the states in March for a month or two. Going to Cali and then up to Vegas going to skate some pools!
