I'm off on a road trip around America for a while. I'll be hitting up a few states trying to find the best heart stopping food, beer gut inducing beers and the best spots around. First stop San Francisco!
Not sure if the last post went through.. As there's very slow wifi at the hotel..
I barely made it through Customs and got interrogated by some staunch customs officials due to a trespassing arrest skating here 19 years ago (yeah I know I'm old). I was sweating balls but finally made it out and through the chaotic LAX terminal. The trip hadn't been going so smoothly yet as our flight from Melbourne had been cancelled due to heavy fog, meaning that the international flight had to be pushed back a day with an overnight stopover in Sydney. Was surprised to find that dogs are allowed on most planes in America.
San Fran is a sleepy town. There's people taking naps all over the place.
Staying at 'Hotel Casa Loma' up in the hills of Lower Haight. Had a crackhead couple screaming at the top of their lungs at each other right outside the window last night.
Everywhere you go (and I mean everywhere) is the strongest smell of weed. San Francisco has a unique smell consisting of weed, B.O, incense and piss.
