Skate Park Designer Wanted

Full Time with immediate start

expertise in concept design, community consultation, design documentation and construction.

An exciting opportunity is currently available for a highly motivated and passionate Designer having a
keen interest in skateboarding with exceptional technical documentation and detailing understanding,
skills and abilities to join Convic’s design team.

The successful applicant will be an integral part of a diverse mix of creative and enthusiastic designers
working collaboratively to develop innovative and integrated design solutions for projects across
Australia and around the globe.

Key skills and experience:
- Design or drafting professional
- Minimum 3+ years post graduate industry experience
- Passionate skateboarder with proven skateboarding knowledge and experience
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic with broad, creative and innovative design skills
- Ability to work as a member of a dynamic, collaborative, motivated and passionate team
- Exceptional and proven AutoCAD Drafting ability, production and presentation skills including
the Adobe suite with Sketchup skills advantageous.
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of design materials and construction detailing
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet tight timelines
- Excellent communication and professional presentation skills
- Ability to engage with and consult with facility users, youth, teenagers and community
- Excellent project management skills for small, large, integrated and diverse projects.
