yeh i posted a question a while back if anyone knew about the deal with the noise restrictions and the close down of the nimbin chinramp.
i read in the local rag the other day that they were doing meetings with the council and fuckin still haven't got shit together.. this is fucked cos this bloke spent ther better part of 2 years making that ramp as a work-for-the-dole thing... now its ready to skate u can't skate it... maybe one day soon!!!
anyone else skated that mutt by the way???
nah dude, i didn't make the ramp.. i don't get the dole i wish i fucken did tho.. i gotta work and go to uni
i heard its now owned by the council down there and could be relocated...nothing set in concrete though yet...

floggo.. yeh i heard a relocation is possible, i spose it'll come down to the cheaper option whether to make the ramp silent or move the bastard. its in a rad spot tho, 1min walk up to the pub, right in the center of the mardi-grass festivities... they even gunna put a shade over it

i guess they could resurface it with ply or masonite and put a shade over it to stop it from being weathered...that would limit the noise...

yeah man had a lil session there when it was almost complete...some dude was welding underneath the surface while we were smashing around on the top...ha..must of been noisy for the poor fella..but he was cool...
yeah they channel is super rad...and the vert section is amazing!
