> NEW PARK AT RYDE
there are meetings to discuss the design for a skatepark in ryde, sydney.
they need to be told as much information about skateboarding as possible so that we don't have another shit park.
a random company called "redfox design" are designing the park and ive never heard of them so chances are they will make plenty of mistakes.
the next meeting is at 7pm on november the 10th. food and drink will be supplied. if you can't make it, call ryde council and ask to speak to BELINDA TREW.
ill try and keep you guys updated but i can see myself getting tired of dealing with this council if they don't listen to skateboarders.
I live in Ryde. Someone mentioned to me we should speak to council about a park, so this is great news.
Ryde is a great place for a park.

Too bad they built a bloody freeway over the old Ryde Skatepark. That thing was the stuff of legends (and where I spent half of yr7, 8 and 9. I was a bad kid).
Need to have a decent half-pipe for learning to transit from mini ramps to vert. I saw an old pic on this site somewhere described that way...
Something like Newcastle Mini, but without the slippery graffiti.
