> THE ALBERT PARK SKATEPARK THREAD
since i reside in the lovly albert park i thoguht that i would make a thread about the longly anticipated skateboarding facility, you know just keep you guys up to date on whats going on and whatnot.
i recently saw planns of it on one of the computers at riverside and holyshit it looks amazing, most of the park is made of normal polished concrete but the different thing to most of the melbourne parks is that the obsticles are mostly made from wood and marble, altho in not %100 sure that these are the right materials due to i was lurking around the computer at riverside and jake walked in when i was looking at the plans haha but so far it looks so fucking good.
ill post pictures when they start to build cos i walk past the proposed site everyday before and after school.. hope to see you all there soon. lators.
Im assuming this is the one a lot of crew went to the meeting about and we won. Heated debate and all that. It was going to be St Kilda park. Plans look AMAZING but it wont happen for at least a year apparently
