Those damn bins have no place anywhere near a skatepark - this sort of crap happens at every park that has those bins e.g. Dullos, Bra, Balmoral...and thats just te ones I know of in Sydney. Its sooo flamin hard to get that shit off the concrete as it leaves a greasy residue thats like waxing the entire bowl.
Balmoral was unskateable for four months after the burning incident, and was cleaned by the council like 4 times, t'was the worst, you could sess around silently, like socks on polished wood floor. I think the sand technique is probs the best at fixing it, thats what happened at bra and it seemed to work, balmoral they just blasted the surface, but more slipperiness would sweat out on the hot days
That skatepark is the best example of "best plans, worst execution and then f*cked up by bogans".
Sure glad I'm not living there anymore.

Ages ago I spoke with council about getting the steel swing bins in skateparks so this won't happen. They tell me the company that collect the the waste refuses to empty them as it is too much effort, they want to be able to wheel the bins to the truck, lazy ****s.
I think the company is pacific waste managnent, if your interested Jon!
Surely if they are contracted for the provision and subsequent emptying of the bins, then "we couldn't be bothered" is surely an inadequate excuse? BAH!!

But Slam is always there and lazy ass council workers are as well,not one to stereotype,but fucking hell,how many council workers do you see doing jack shit on a daily basis?
