i dunno. i bet its not a scam its just extremely over exagerated. youre not gonna make that much in so little time.
i joined treasuretrooper.com and did surveys and shit there and after a couple months of on and off surveys i finally got over $20, the min to send a cheque. the cheque did actually come, but i havent deposited it yet. its not too worth it though. VERY tedious sitting through surveys and signing up for shit and basically just saying no to literally thousands of deals/ads. i guess its ok to fill out 1 or 2 everytime youre really bored. passes some time and youre making a little extra cash on the side. whatever
(and yes, they send money to countries outside of the US)

Yeah I've done some focus groups and made 100-150 in an hour or so. A few people at the joint I used to work at were getting in on a lot of them. A few people were on the cigarette ones and they'd get cartons of unlabelled smokes to smoke and then fill in a survey and get like $100 a month plus the free durries.
