Thought it'd be a good discussion as I had one the other day.
But anyways, discussing brands you appreciated back in the day and or hated.
Whether the brand/company died or moved on to bigger or better things or just changed names and now theyre making millions or just having a bit of a spell.
It's be interesting to see what people have to say.
depending on different generations n opinions.
For me, the 2 that really stood out were.
DWARF SKATEBOARDS
and
JUICE clothing/ ematic/ apparel/ whatever
YES I KNOW JUICE IS STILL AROUND BUT IN COMPARISON TO ALL THESE NEW COMPANIES AND WHAT NOT GETTING SHOWN THE SPOTLIGHT IN SKATE MAGS ETC.
dwarf had the likes of.. (reading the back of my dwarf 1 way video):
pete daly
purish wilson
dan san roman
brad smith
justin wong
richie b
tony lawrence
troy young
and juice...
jefff skunk
morgan campbell etc.
gauci
they were my sorta local brands/ companies, living in sydney, just started skating they were definately the hype!!!
and i think a lot of ppl in that list/ companies r still around, doin other things, i think pete daly's a photog but anyway...
thought it'd be a good rememberance thread.
ONE BRAND/company i questioned was ENEMY.
well, they tried.
whether they changed names or died???
hmmm..
oh yes. division skate shop in st.ives.

world industries was once upon a time the best company ever... now is sold out to target ahahaha
oh the airwalk thing is both maybe?? he was wearing at x-games this year whilst skating so yeah? dunno
