i think your picks are on point drew. but anyone who has seen alex skate would agree that he is up there too. it might take a year or two before he is crowned. but peeps will realise. so i would say alex is a "should" and your ones are pretty on the money for "will".
yeah cool thanks, I wasn't sure if I had missed anyone in the "will category".. ie had enough coverage in mediums x + y + z, skates obstacles a and b, does tricks m + n + q and are sponsored by companies r, s & t.

i voted for brophy and i agree with both of you fellas. i`m not sure i agree with the voting though. nearly half say nugget? not that i don`t like the little fella, and he definitely rips, and i know he hung out with p-rod BUT apart from not turning pro, i reckon brophy`s year makes lewis` last year look pretty average.

Hopefully Alex will at least be in the running, that b/s ollie photo in the melville ditch and his heelflip up the curb in Nike extras are better than 99% of stuff I've seen recently.
Brophy would be a deserving recipient also.
After skating with Jack Crook I immediately rate him as one of my faves, but I don't know if he fits the equation Drew mentioned.
Corbin has had a pretty good year too.

nugget is absolutely amazing, so is dane, but it is admittedly hard to front on someone (b-roff) who has the biggest ollie on the planet, who also happens to have flat ground skills to match the best. i was once with brophy at woolies when he met stefan janoski. stefan totally grommed out over brophy and told him he had the best tre flip out there. quite the compliment coming from a certified black belt of steeze like old stef.
