Hi,
Where is the closest quiet/mellow flatground spot to the center of Melbourne city, some place that can be skated at night, some place you never get kicked from. ? ?
I guess, the equivalent of Brisbane footbridge marble flatground spot would be good, just some place to skate around at night when I obviously can't go to the riverside on my own at fuckin 11pm or whatever.
And is the dirt gap at the museum a bust or what?

and u can skate the muesem at night, but not the gaps, only the middle near the entrance is lit, altho u shouldnt have a problem with security, i was chilllin with one smoking the other night there.

Yeah how about anywhere in melb? the whole place is flat smooth bluestone, how can you need help with this?

its part of it. The roll to the spot is lots of fun too sometimes. I would hardly call looking for a flat smooth surface in Melbs "searching"
Don't give me that patronising bullshit, I know how it works... The majority of skating I do is in town at night where I come from and I'm always on the move, never catch a bus from spot to spot, skate the streets, so I know what the 'search' is all about.
But the fact is that although there are all these smooth places all through cities, a lot of them are crowded, full of drunken fuckheads on weekends, etc, that it's really good to know of a quiet lit up spot where u can just fuckin put your bag down and have a skate and not worry about loosing it to a thief, know what I'm sayin?. And sometimes a place like that can be so obscure that one would not find it in the short period that they're staying at an new place.
I just asked a simple question, if you can't be helpful like the first two posters then just keep your shit to yourself.

-Undercover
-Extremely rare to get booted
just don't skate back to the city through the gardens there after dark, can be a bit dodgy at night.
parliament station is another...
-its lit up...
-its bluestone
-its got a ledge(rounded off)
-pretty easy to find a park close by(unless fri,sat)
-skated there at night at least 100 times never been rolled and never been kicked out
State Library up top its lit
can skate the little gutter ledge
also Museum like Frank.C said easier to find a park than parls plus its under cover
just skate around and some more ! but remember alot of the buildings have apartments so chose one that doesnt or else your get the boot
junkies and gang fights going down in the gardens next door
