ok heres my bitching session.
early this yearboom skate boards held a comp at city park
called the big bang it was advertised and shit in slam
1st prise was flights all payed for to L.A
i went to this comp and won it , to my surprise
but as most amazing this that happend to me it was too good to be true
boom never contacted me after a few months i tryed to ring , and email them
i had a few replys from one of the people from boom
saying i should contact a guy named frank so i tryed tryed tryed.. after a few months later he finaly wrote back to me saying he had no idea about me contacting him and that it was his first email.( why wouldnt th othe guy at boom tell him)>?
he said that they are having finacal problems and wont be abbel to pay me til later on.
mean while i open up a slam mag and there have been more then 3 ads since the comp
how can they not pay my prize of like $2000 but still pay for ads witch would probley be more??
pascal won this comp the year before but he got fucekdover too
whats your oppion on this should i be sooking about this or should i just not give a f***.????
its also a message to companys dont hold a comp if u cant affortd it...

Especially since you forked out your own money to pay for flights, to go to the states with Geoff (months after the Boom comp).... and Boom saying they will pay you back.
They obviously didn't keep to their word... so don't give up on it.
yeah definately threaten legal action
that advert is evidence and im sure you'd have a heap of skaters to back you up on your win
i'm guessing they had a contract with slam. not all ads are once-off affairs.
but dude, that shit is weak. persist with it. i hate people who can't keep their word.
boom has lost all my respect .. did pascall end up getting his prize money or whet ever i may have been?
