> ABANDONMENT OF ST KILDA PARK
I was readin the paper this morning and there was an article stating that the St Kilda council had abandoned the idea of building a skatepark due to the proposed area being near a primary school and that it would be built 'near or on top of existing grass area' i see this as a total cop out a fact that was confirmed later when a counselor was quoted as saying that the park did not need to be in St Kilda...

Im not sure if this is old news or anything but i find it ridiculous that we are denied these facilities because a of residential snobbery...
saw this coming for a long time, i'm not fussed.
it was never going to happen, they were just stalling for time, trying to think of an excuse.
There's only one thing too do.. skate everything worth skating in St Kilda till people get pissed off and when they do play dumb and be like 'if only we had a skatepark here'
