> LONG BOARD JERRY IS OFF TO JAPAN
Jerry Kahn as most of you brissy skaters know as "long board jerry" has moved back too Osaka his home town with his month old twin boys gangus and juan. And he is competing in the long board challenge in tokyo later this year.
So lets wish him well on his travels
kurt winter is also really good at long boarding belive it or not, and is going to enter the comp with jerry over there. should be pretty amazing sk8ing going on
I remember slamming on the fun box at Coops about 8 years ago...Jerry was right behind me (we were taking turns at airing the box) and he didn't stop.
Just went BAM...and did a shove-it tail grab.
The one thing that sticks in my mind, other than the view from me lying on the ground, was the sound of his board spinning. Sounded like a chopper back in 'nam.
When he did rock and roll slides on the shitty quarter pipes you had to jump in the air if you were on the platform because he'd take your legs out.
