I saw Potty put up pics from the construction of this, but I didn't see a park listing for it.
We went there the other day and had a little roll.
Quite fun, well built, easy when there are no others there...
Justin Vickers of Godbowl and Redfrog Boardriders fame frontside grinds on the mini vert wall (well almost)
Address: Quinn Street Park, Quinn St, Balmoral QLD
We got to it from Kuranda Street though, which is easier parking.
Surface still pretty smooth and slippery, but not as bad as some new parks.
There is a separate bowl, of about 1.2 m up to 1.6 m hip kinked kidney shape.
Main area of the park has flat banks, steeper quarter (almost vert wall) at one end, easy quarter at the other bowling round to a bank with ledge that runs the side length, bank middle box area with rail, ledge quartered type obstacle, easier to see in pics than describe.
Fairly small overall so it would get busy with more than a couple of people there.
