had a roll today . fuckin awsome . made of super smooth stuff . oh man . cant wait to be able to skate it all day . shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit . its perfect
um no idea ay . could be a week could be 12 months . the seco told us that it was only there for the tournaments . so i donno whats goin on . my mates have ssaid that it would be openin pretty soon ay . but i dont know what there doin about the 21 foot roll ins and 90 foot wide ramp :S
yeah, it's going to double in width to some riddicuosly wide amount . The mini also to something like 30 feet.
But when.....????? and I hear there are insurance issues at the mo.
Good things take a while, but then again sometimes crap things do too .
But this is going to hot stuff!
Hopefully there will be a globe cup kinda street set up too.

SOPA are developing Australia's best action sports facility catering for inline skating skateboarding and freestyle bmx.The equipment forming the facility will be a 68ft vert ramp (biggest in Aust) a 300m2 miniramp area and a 1000sqm indoor street course.The facility will be full supervised with minimum safety requirements for the use of the equipment.We envisage operating hours to be from 12pm to 10pm weekdays and 10pm to 10pm weekends public and school holidays.The will be an entry fee to cover usage per session or conversely patrons will be able to purchase an annual membership for entry.
We anticipate the facility opening for public use September/October this year.
so the street corse is gonna be a square km big . no fuckin way . thats huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. . cant wait . the guy that was kickin us out of there today was threatining to ban us for life . tha would suck

nah man . its ard . only the best . i sk8ed the street set up for the eastershow . bloody awsome . everythin was perfect . except for the fact that the rail was in the way of the ledge and you couldnt approach it nollie . but thats only for me . im a wuss . .,,,,..,.,.,.....,...cant wait . its gonna be burley
I don't think that street course will be part of the end product Chell, but the other ramps are.
The street course is gonna be new cos the one they
have now is a rental. Also 1000sqm is not 1sqkm!
Its pretty much the size of any decent sized park.
Most parks are WAY smaller than 1000sqm. Do you know how long 100 metres is? Pretty fucking long for a skatepark. They would fit tonnes of shit into that space. To give you an idea, It'd be a fair bit bigger than the GWC course maybe 1.5x the size.
with the 68ft vert ramp, is that height or width?
and by the way 1000m is 1km
