"The Laverton area is having its own skatepark in 2006. The facility will be opened with a contest, this will form a contest series between the existing Hobsons Bay skateparks, overall points will be tallyed and a Hobsons Bay champion will be crowned."

flat enough ground for beginners to learn to push and stay on the board, but the ramp is a little dodgy
edit: careful riding on the lighter concrete, it's really slippery and the change from rough concrete to smooth is super jarring
