this is just to let you know that the first ground has been broken at the site of the jindabyne terrain park. i can email plans and other info if anyone is interested. there will be a big party at opening (supposedly mid jan) coz its bin a long time coming and nobody can really beieve it's finally happening.
i saw some plans ages ago in slam i think. looked really fun, kinda long with a bowl at one end and the standard street accesories if i remember right.
that will create some awesome fun when it actually snows in jindy, snow park in town woot

here's the setup. sorry but THIS is the real one, not the one they were showing on smtv this winter. non-riding members of the community have been led to believe that this is the latest in contemporary skatepark design, but i believe many riders are dubious. consensus is that the bowls should be ripping though. hideously expensive, it's been a long and often ridiculous campaign, many good people have exhausted themselves and many naysayers have had much fodder to bitch with but we looking at an opening before the end of jan'06. comments welcome
heated concrete for the winter? i hated waiting for the ice to melt on the shady side of the ramp on my one day off a week...

It'll be jib jib heaven when some snow falls in town.
'a little dull' is a really nice way of putting it. just might be politically correct enough to breathe out loud in jindy.
