> FIVE DOCK NSW PROGRESS?
I'm going to be in FD on business in April and I want to know if the bowl has been dug up (if that's a physically possible event).
Has any earthworks begun on Five Dock? Pics?

We swept the bowl out the other day though, now she's sweet to go.

My wife has nightmares. I don't like them. That may be why I avoided the old thread.

contract to build the skatepark has been awarded to the same Co. that built Parramatta bowl. Halfpipe will be kept with a re-surfacing. Final designs and commencement date when i can get them...soon

Great! So Five Docks new park is going to have no tranny and too much vert in the deep sections, kinked hips (to mirror the old kinked bowl i guess), and uneven coping. Just like Parra. Fukn yay!
Two years ago I suggested a fund raising effort to boost the budget for the park, but this was not an option, as the park was supposed to begin construction in December of 2004. What happened? Nothing!
With all this extra time on the locals hands, I'm sure we could have raised at least 50 to 100k extra for a super good park. Now we're gonna get another sub-standard bowl, and a revamp of something that never should have been built in the first place.
Here's a reminder of one of my designs that everyone seemed to like. Let's see what we end up with.
I could post design sketches all night, but it wont ever get me work with Five Dock or anywhere else, so why fukn bother.
Thanks again for sharing the nation wide design work load Chad. You're a fukn champion! I'm going to design a 2 story cock with a flat top and build it at your local. Yeah, that's right. I'm bitter!
