> ADELAIDE CITY PARK TO BE DEMOLISHED?
Saw a picture and artcle in the local Adelaide advertiser about some investors building a staium/entertainmnet center of the train track between the convention centre all the way past the bridge.
The photo was a generated pic and showed this huge stadium with a raised road around it and the skatepark was tucked in there underneath.
DO YOU THINK IF NEEDED THE CITY WOULD DEMOLISH THE PARK ?
It does get trashed allot and Michael Harbison the mayor doesnt care about it when it comes to upkeep/expansion.
Hopefully they build over it but the park would need to be closed.
I'd doubt they'd spend that much money on it and then demolish it. There are a lot of people that use it, bikers bladers and skaters and they think they're containing them all in one place. Therefore I'm sure they'd prefer to keep it and keep all those people confined to one place.
well thsi really would suck.. people go/come all over the place to that park. everytime i go there theres at least 20-30 people there it would be an unwise decision!
yeah they should demolish the piece of shit,
build a new entertainment centre there (that would be a rad spot for it)
and relocate the park to the east parklands where that old kiddie pool thing is and build a better rad mega concrete park

i hope this is true, i actually hate city park, although it definately had potential and it would be rad to have a properly done park in the city, but its current location is killerrrrrrrr which would be a shame
