Hey anyone know of parks between Cairns & Rockhampton?
Anyone have photos of the new Cairns bowls?
There would have to be a few now. Concrete just finished building a park in Ingham, which is about 100k's north of Townsville. I'm not sure if Ayr has a park, but there is a little mini there that is fun to skate.
Mackay has a couple of parks, Airlie Beach, Proserpine, they have parks too.
There are a few parks in Townsville and one on Magnetic Island as well.
Just got back from our trip up to Cairns...
The goodnews was: construction had started on the new park...
The bad news was: it had only just started and they demolished the old park!
Coping for the small bowl was in was bowl half dug...
there is a park in Ayr, it ain't that good tho, too small. Townsville has a few ordinary parks but theres one near the murray sports centre thats my local. the magnetic island park is pretty sweet
Managed to check out a few parks in between doing the holiday thing with the missus and kiddies
1st skate stop was Blackall Central QLD
I can't believe I used to travel 100 km to skate this...
Just came back... (to Orange NSW)
I used to live in Barcaldine Central QLD
Where you from Dregs
Stayed over at Barcy... (still no park)
1st stop day 2 was Longreach
Loongreach was in the design process when I lived in Barcy and built (by Convic) after we left so this was my virgin skate.
Rocked up at 8am and was amped to see the park but as everyone knows skating before lunch (& by yourself) just doesn't seem to work... The copious amounts of some sort of tree nut/seeds all over the park didn't help either...
