Just picked up a leaflet about Sydney City news. A picture of Fernsides opening on the front but inside there is a little paragraph about the upgrade of Prince Alfred Park - the big park with the dodgy pool in it south east of Central Station.
Anyways the article states that there is funding for the upgrade of the park which includes the installation of a skatepark.
Does anyone know about this, have there been meetings held about the designs?. I may just be out of the loop but the article says construction due to commence next year.
Let me know if Ive missed the thread on this or if you know more about it, then share the knowledge.Website offers little help but could be just not updated.
There hasnt been a thread on Central Skatepark yet.
Have been hearing of proposed skatepark at Central since rail line to green square went in
(first proposed park was to go on top of train line near greek church , cleveland st side).
Look forward to something getting built as this is probable 3rd time Ive heard this rumour (hopefully "trumour")
Hope design has some vert elements as well as some street to keep the twig flippers happy
Might be worth emailling office of Clover Moore for more info
A rad deep clover bowl for Clover Moore.
sydney has everything but a clover. and a cradle.
Plus some rad street stuff too.

usually I just email and ask what type of Liquor she is into and ask for any home videos she might have, but this time try asking for a skatepark for Sydney's Gay and Lesbians and ya never know she might actually do something
(especially if there is a vote or young lesbian lover in it for her, any one out there want to take one for the team on this????)
