> ANY SKATEPARKS IN THAILAND / VIETNAM / MALAYSIA??
ayo I'm Travelling to south east asia in November and I've been looking to try and find a skatepark or two to visit on my travels ... can't find much at all on the internet. Does anybody know of any parks in these countries or can direct me to a website for one??
peace
Bangkok: There was a Redbull park on South Sathorn Road - just up from the Austrlian Embassy. Received an email yesterday to say that it has now closed. They had built a Redbull in Chiang Mai, don' know the fate of that.
There was a real ghetto setup between MBK (major shopping centre - just ask someone) and the skytrain station.
A bit of street action under the new bridge that spans the river. There are a few bridges, it is the one with tall spire and cables running from one side only.
Best advice is to find the skate shops on the top floor of MBK and ask someone.
yeah ask the dude at the store at MBK. i was told where some spots where but never found them?? i guess there must be some stuff around though...
cheers lady-boys, I'm starting in bangkok so I'll just ask around , doesn't look like there's an abundance of parks around there though!
yea there are some street spots around, the guys at the red bull park told me that there were some good ones. I didn't get to skate the park there when i went because it was raining:(. But im going there again soon
