> EIGHT MILE PLAINS NEEDS A PARK!
does anybody here live in the eight mile plains, brisbane, queensland region?
i'm thinking of contacting the local member about a skatepark but it'll take a while and i'll need you help...
i live near the farm thats near kuraby skatepark. kurabys my local park but its still a mission and a half to get there

Josh...there won't be a park going in at EMP for a long time, if ever. Council spent a shitload on Kuraby and as far as they are concerned it is close enough to EMP and good enough.
Needless to say, no one has informed them that the park is overrun by bikers, tongan thugs and street kids who look at you with shifty flying fox eyes....
Why build another one in the area when kurby is so abused ? I think the council would be much better off building a private mini in my backyard.
