whats this i read about sydney turning off lights for an hour?
is it voluntary or do they actually shut the power off? is it only in the actual city? has it happened already or when will it happen?

You don't get fined for not doing it. I forgot all about it, and I didn't notice any change to the lights at the pub. Actually, I'm not exactly sure where I was at the time it was on - I left the pub at what I thought was 3.30 in the morning, but it was only 9.30 at night LOL
