Has anyone had experience with the Vivitar 285HV Thyristor Flash? Mine only sometimes randomly fires... It charges up and the the light flashes green and red but never a solid green. Sometimes it will work fine with the triggers for about 5 times in a row then it won't work again for ages. I think it's probably just faulty but any insight would be great. Are there specific type of batteries I should be using...?

flat enough ground for beginners to learn to push and stay on the board, but the ramp is a little dodgy
edit: careful riding on the lighter concrete, it's really slippery and the change from rough concrete to smooth is super jarring
