Clip/Press Release
------------------------------------------
For immediate distribution,
In 2009 I released this:
From Ben O'Neil, Director Heavyweight Distribution...
“Holiday skateboarding, how good was it! As a kid when the school bell rang for the last time before a Holiday do you remember the butterfly’s you would get in your stomach from the sheer anticipation and excitement of the weeks to come and all the skateboarding that was to do as apart of it.
That’s the vibe we as a collective want to bring with the name Holiday. Something fun and pure that feels like skateboarding was when we first experienced it back before all the bullshit.
It’s Aussie but we have big ambitions, welcome to our permanent holiday”.
And then we took a holiday…
April 3rd, 2012 – We were never gone, just on Holiday!
Today I am proud to announce that Holiday boards will be available Australia wide this week!
A huge thanks to Gus Faithfull who has waited almost 3 years for this to eventuate and with him behind the bean counter our Am team of himself, Andrew Beauchamp and Jack Bridge’s is official! The boys met up last week in Melbourne and available today on the Picture Wheel Co YouTube you can view their intro clip which hopefully gives a small glimpse of things to come from Holiday.
Holiday’s price-point boards are hitting stores this week with a larger range of wood arriving through out May and June and a full complete range of boards, completes, clothing and accessories will be available by years end.
Look out for more exciting announcements to come, the Holiday is just beginning!
always nice to see legit Australian brands instead of the usual clueless gronks.
would be more legit if it wasn't the only Australian brand owned by someone who doesn't skate..
