It's here !!! The 3rd annual Decks for Change exhibition event is a night of art, community, skateboarding and radness to raise funds for Iraqs first ever skatepark.
Were bringing together art, skateboarding, music and community to fundraise for something very special. In May, we assist Make Life Skate Life as we travel to Sulaymaniyah, where skateboarding offers an alternative to the politics of war - it brings people from all backgrounds together and gives them a life-long passion filled with unbreakable bonds.
An impressive line up of local and international skate artists come together to produce a body of 30 artworks aligned with the theme of F*ck The Status Quo, a celebration of skateboarding & challenging the social norm. Each artwork will be sold on the night with all proceeds going toward the creation of Suli Skatepark in Iraq.
Demo from the Vans skate team and music by local shredders BAD BATCH will be getting you all hyped. There's a bunch of generously donated give-aways from Vans, AFENDS Hemley Skateboarding and Four Pillars Gin up for grabs.
Be a part of something big, celebrate the rebelliousness of skateboarding and help us give the youth of Iraq access to a free and safe space to share the stoke.
Thanks to our supporters:
