Thornlands Skatepark
NEAR ME SHARE
Thornlands between Cleveland and Victoria Point, not to be confused with Thornside in the same shire, has been finished and is a reasonable park for all types.
Built by Sk8con, the original size of the park was squashed down to fit into the existing size and lower budget but is still fun to skate.
The main features include a nice 3ft rounded bowl which opens out onto the rest of the park, a large rail and block combo from the main platform and an oposing 6ft quarter with hip. There is also a steep bank hip with block along it and down on both sides and another steep pizza slice bank. The large block which was in the middle of the park has been removed, allowing a much better run between everything and a free landing from the large rail.
There are shops close by but nothing else on site, with minimal shade furing the heat of the day.

The box on the flat has been taken out, so has the funbox with the box going up across and down and the down rail now goes across and down so you can do trick on the out bar out of the bank. good fun park. not muc pushing needed.
live down the road from it never go there to much drugs happening and lots of bikers. plus i suck lol

they are doin this up atm they are putting a euro in and some hubbas
new bit is so mad
does anyone know if there is a trainstation near it?
its got a awesome upgrade. 2 small vert quarters, a euro sum little boxes and another quarter its heaps good.
Bikes will soon be banned :-)
