once an old army training facility, where the skatepark is was once formally an olympic swimming pool before the whole place was abandoned decades ago. now days the town is nothing but hippies and burnouts living in tents and trailers who have concreted the old pool into a rad diy with a variety of quarterpipes (in a corio paint tray style layout) a ledge or two, and whatever other random shit will turn up there from time to time eg random car with ramps around it and a flatbar straigh into the drivers seat... :-/ highly recomend checking this place out.
