Flagstaff Hill Skatepark

Another excellent facility created by CONVIC. Located in Dorfus's old hood, it recieved some extra TLC in it's creation. It has a sick 'peanut' shaped bowl 6 ft shallow end and 10 ft deep end, concrete coping with at least a foot of vert in the deep end. The transitions are perfect (bump free) tight in the shallow and sweet in the deep. Awesome pool style bowl! Other sections of the park flow beautifully. Two tight transitioned vert walls are linked by a smaller wall. These set you up for an attack on the euro gap or the banks. There are various blocks, ledges and rails with a 3 to 4ft mini bowl that has a tight corners and an open end with a concrete parking block to destroy on one side. Some freaky post modern style cage thingos disguised as seating surround the northern end of the park. There are new clean dunnies, a small modern playground for the kiddies and some dirt tracks and jumps for the bikes. They say in the future there will be lighting and some shade. There is a bus stop right out the front of the park and a large car park. Nearest place for food is at the shops down the road and around the corner (follow the signs) or the Aberfoyle Hub (which is a short drive) has everything.

Manning Rd, Flagstaff Hill SA 5159, Australia
