The council has just finished upgrading this park, it's got a new bowl that's just like fitzy bowls and new boxes. It's so much better now
this park is ace.outta the way, smoothe, complete replicure of fitzy. you could have heaps of fun here.
im a local i love the park if ur a bowl skater i reconment this park to u the have added a new bowl just like fitzy bowl but lavo bowl is better because it is brand new and the have added heaps of ledges
man skateboard.com needs a new pic of the park so many more people would go there
Updated pics are in the forum parks section
Bowl is good but a bit slippery on the flat. The euro and the two stair are ridiculously small but the manual pad in between both of them is a shitload of fun. beyond the manual pad there are two small long mellow hubbas. The one to the left curves to the left on one side. The old three and four stairs are very narrow because they both have a bank going along half of them. There is a small flatbar which can be alot of fun. If travelling by car from the city travel down princess hwy take the kororoit creek road exit and turn right. Turn left into old geelong road and then turn left into Bladin St (Roundabout) Travel down Bladin St until you get to a high school and turn left into the street just before it. The park is between the high school and the swimming pools. By Train get off at laverton station and head north until you get to a park with a creek. If it has been raining you cant cross the creek directly to get to the skatepark, You must either go left and take the bladin st bridge or go right and go over the footbridge. Im not sure where the local skate shop is but my best guess is that its ozmosis in werribee plaza.
The closest public toilets are near the railway station. There is a foodworks on bladin street for food/drinks/smokes etc. as well as a fish and chip shop and a pizza place. Also near the station there are a few shops there including one with $1 cans of drink.
Look how small the euro gap is!
durries are the fukin best.. Hey do you's like limp bizkit? fred durst is bitchin, id totally suck his dick. me boyfriend trevor said he wouldnt even care coz dursty is just such a sick cunt. im up the duff again so im finally gonna get me 71inch flatscreen telly (thank fuck, now i can finally watch master chef and mclouds daughters in all their glory) baby boners = cha-ching, livin large like ja-rule..
Realy good for learning new tricks.
This bowl is great, nice smooth surface, learn tricks on the small side then take them to the deep side once your confidence is up, another good thing is that is usually really clean as there's no trees or rocks nearby. Started carving from one side to the other today & you can get some really good lines going. Street sections pretty crap although it is smooth & clean at least.
This bowl is an exact copy of West Heidelberg's. They have tighter trannys than Fitzy or Lilydale - which'er also both exactly the same.
Good park b good it it had corner to corner banks and better rail
