"Geelong youth activities area"/ Waterfront park, A well constructed park that consists of rails, stairs, manual pads, ledges, hubbas and metal edged banks. This park involves a lot of imagination. It has many levels of steep metal edged banks running all threw the park, a large bank running down the back of the park with an ankle height rail on it. A large 10 stair with 2 hubba's either side and a rail down the centre, just make sure you can throw down and jump on quickly and push really hard. Nice smooth flat ledge at the front of the park, small 3 stair for beginner skaters, 2 metal up ledges of different height and lengths with a smooth grind-able coat on them, 3 rusty architecture metal frames fitted with speakers and lights, also an ipod cable. a basketball hoop and sitting area. It also has 3 large sets of steps two 3's and a two. this park is a lot of fun and make you think outside the square just be sure to watch out for the tourist playing basketball or the shufflers on a sunday... place looks amazing. canberra should be getting something like this, the council's doing the whole community area with the B-ball hoops, so dumb. just gonna get basketballs in front of moving skaters

4.5 stars are you joking???? 2 stars max for skateboarding and 4.5 stars for appearance. Yeah it's a "youth activites" area and skateboarding is a major one of those youth activities. It could have fulfilled all other purposes just as well and been much better for skating. This place had so much potential yet........most things have bad runup or are just in a bad position and if you've seen the hubbas all you can do is laugh. The "youth activites area" shit is a poor excuse for the fact that the designers had their heads shoved way too far up their artfag buttholes. An extremely disappointing park.
