someone posted this in the awesome pics thread ages ago. such a good perspective
seriously been looking at that ^ for 5 mins at everything, the ramp is so skinny so much could go wrong, going off the side, then you think of bombing that at night with so many people watching, music, people making noise, the lights, flashing cameras, these people are straight up freaks with no fear.
also no bailing before you get to that kicker, even the slightest foot persitioned wrong could really fuck you. there's so much gnar about the mega ramp.

Holy Molly! Jake Brown is nutter. I can't comprehend the shit these guys are doing. I was lucky enough to check out the point X mega ramp about ten years ago and just rolling down the landing ramp before the big quarter was pretty much the fastest I've ever been on a skateboard. I got death wobbles and almost ate it..
Bob's body language when he found out his score was less than Jake's was lame. He's on crack if he thinks a fs 720 is better than a 720 ollie... More importantly Corbin is killing it at life. He's the new Sal Malaksalaksa.
Bob was never gunna beat Jake's score without wearing his trademark dork-sunnies
It seems Jake learnt his lesson after his slam a few years ago...if you land even slightly sketchy over the jump, DON'T try a 540 on the 1/4....a nice "safe" method will do the job
